Temporary Closure of Westminster Road, Wareham
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Westminster Road, Wareham from the junction with Carey Road to outside The Westminster Wire Factory Ltd, 9 Westminster Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 200 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 16 January 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 10 February 2023 This Order will enable SGN safe access to replace a gas main. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using Carey Road, Bere Road and vice versa.

Temporary Closure of Currendon Road, Swanage
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14[1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Currendon Hill, Swanage between Currendon Farm and Ulwell Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 640 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 9 January 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31 January 2023.
This Order will enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution, safe access to excavate across the highway to install 33,000 V Trefoil Cables as well as an additional 11,000 Cable.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using Ulwell Road, B3351 and vice versa.
