The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.18) Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 12 December 2022 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 11 Alderton Road, Croydon, No. 3 Ashburton Gardens, Croydon, No. 21 Colebrook Road, Norbury, No. 371 Chipstead Valley Road, Coulsdon, No. 32 Dalmally Road, Croydon, No. 18 Elm Park Road, South Norwood, No. 68 Enmore Road, South Norwood, No. 97 Meadvale Road, Croydon, No. 47 Michael Road South Norwood and No. 93 Tedder Road, South Croydon.
b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 19 December 2022 and of all associated Orders can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made by appointment with the Parking Design Team, at Bernard Wetherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA (telephone 020 8726 6000 and ask for Parking Design). 3. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS CLYDE ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new telegraph pole, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Clyde Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Clyde Road will be closed between the common boundaries of Nos. 35 and 37 and Nos. 46 and 48 Clyde Road.
b) One way working in Clyde Road will be suspended to allow two-way traffic between No. 46 Clyde Road and the junction with Lower Addiscombe Road.
3. Whilst the works are taking place the alternative routes for traffic will be via Lower Addiscombe Road, Elgin Road and Addiscombe Road, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 16 December 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new water connection on behalf of SES Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Kenley Lane, Kenley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Kenley Lane will be closed outside Sycamores, Kenley Lane.
3. During the closure, the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Valley Road, Beverley Road, Hornchurch Hill, Whyteleafe Hill, Godstone Road, Hayes Lane, Kenley Lane and vice versa.
4. The Order will come into operation on 19 December 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a)any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 KING HENRY’S DRIVE, NEW ADDINGTON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1.Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telegraph pole renewal works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in King Henry’s Drive.
2.Whilst the said works are taking place, parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" between the common boundaries of Nos. 499/501 and 503/505 and Nos. 507/509 and 511/513 King Henry’s Drive.
3.The Order will come into operation on 16 December 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4.These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER PLAYSTREET CLOSURES – DIXON ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD
1.Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that they intend to make a Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to close part of Dixon Road, South Norwood, to vehicular traffic at the times and on the dates specified in the Schedule to this notice, to facilitate a playstreet.
2. During the dates and times specified in the Schedule to this notice no person shall cause any vehicle to enter or proceed in Dixon Road, between its junctions with Whitehorse Lane and Elm Park Road.
3. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for residents, or pedestrians accessing any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.
4. Nothing in the Order shall apply:
a) To anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
b) To any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
5. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Whitehorse Lane, Nugent Road, Elm Park Road, Dixon Road, Oliver Avenue, Whitworth Road and vice versa.
6.The Order will come into effect on 29 January 2023 and will be reintroduced at the times and on the dates specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
