Notice Of Confirmation Of Public Path Diversion And Definitive Map And Statement Modification Orders Highways Act 1980, Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981
The Oxfordshire County Council Tetsworth Footpath No 65 and Lewknor Footpath No 1 (part) Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2021
On 30 November 2022, the Oxfordshire County Council confirmed the above Order under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting:-
Tetsworth FP 65 running from the A40 London Road at OS Grid Ref SP 6941 0097 eastwards for 196m to the Lewknor Parish boundary at SP 6961 0095 to a new line running from the A40 London Road at SP 6941 0097 north-eastwards for 18m to SP 6943 0098, south-eastwards for 74m to SP 6949 0095 and eastwards for 117m to the Lewknor Parish boundary at SP 6961 0095; and
Lewknor FP 1 running from the Tetsworth Parish boundary at OS Grid Ref SP 6961 0095 north-eastwards for 188m to SP 6978 0104 fo a new line running from the Tetsworth Parish boundary at SP 6961 0095 north-eastwards for 189m to SP 6978 0104 where it re-joins the unaffected length of FP 1, as shown on the Order map. The Oxfordshire County Council Wroxton Footpath No. 13 (parts) Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2022
On 7 December 2022, the Oxfordshire County Council confirmed the above Order under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting:-
the entire width of Wroxton FP13 running from the North Newington to Wroxton road at OS Grid Ref SP 4089 4166 west-south-westwards for 331m to SP 4060 4151, and from SP 4045 4152 westwards for 180m to SP 4028 4153 and then north-westwards for 88m to SP 4020 4157 to new lines running from OS Grid Ref SP 4087 4168 south-westwards for 308m to SP 4060 4155 and then southwards for 34m to SP 4060 4151, and from SP 4045 4152 north-westwards for 120m to SP 4034 4157, westwards for 77m to SP 4027 4158 and south-westwards for 75m to SP 4020 4157, as shown on the Order map. The above Orders came into force on the date of confirmation but if any person aggrieved by either of the Orders wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 (the Act), as amended, and/or the powers of section 53A of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (WCA) or on the ground that any requirement of either Act or of any regulation made under them has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act and as applied by s53A(7) WCA, within six weeks from 15 December 2022 make an application to the High Court.

The Oxfordshire County Council Wroxton Footpath No.13 (part) Public Path Temporary Diversion Order 2022
On 7 December 2022, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed the above Order, made on 24 October 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily divert, until 31st December 2027:-part of Wroxton FP13 that runs from OS Grid Reference SP 4084 4167 south-westwards for 276m to SP 4060 4155 fo a line running from OS Grid Reference SP 4084 4167 north-westwards for 278m to SP 4099 4103 and then southwards for 245m to SP 4060 4155, as shown on the Order map. The Order came onto force on the date of confirmation but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within six weeks from 15 December 2022.

The Oxfordshire County Council Enstone Footpath No. 18 (part) Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2022
The Order made on 7 December 2022, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-
diverting Enstone FP18 running from OS Grid Ref SP 3767 2493 SW for 44m to SP 3764 2491 and generally WSW for 54m to SP 3758 2491 to a new line running from OS Grid Ref SP 3767 2493, NNW for 13m to SP 3767 2494, WSW for 4m to SP 3768 2494, generally
SW for 48m to SP 3762 4292, WNW for 34m to SP 3759 2492, SW for 2m to SP 37595
24929, S for 6m to SP 37594 24922, and SW for approximately 12m to SP 3758 2491, as shown on the Order map.

Please state the grounds on which they are made. The notice period has been extended for this Order from 28 to 35 days to allow for the Christmas period. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Oxfordshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
