1. (Grove Area) (Speed Limts) Order 2022 2. (Grove) (Denchworth Road And Cane Lane) (Prohibition Motor Vehicles) Order 2022 3. (Wantage) (Speed Limits) Order 2022
NOTICE is given that on 12 December 2022 Oxfordshire County Council made the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers and they come into force on 19 December.
The effect of Order 1) as a result of the development of land adjacent to Denchworth Road (south of Grove) is to extend the 30mph speed limit on Denchworth Road from its junction with Newlands Drive to its roundabout junction with Mably Way. The effect of Order 2) as a result of development and which involves realignment of road junctions, is to remove 2 current sections of road from use by motor vehicles only.
(a) The north end of Denchworth Road being realigned slightly to the east to meet with a new Cane Lane T-junction making a section of the north end of the existing Denchworth Road redundant,
(b) A new T-junction for Cane Lane slightly to its south making the westernmost end of the existing Cane Lane redundant.
There will continue to be rights of way for pedestrians and cyclists on the closed sections of highway.
The effect of Order 3) is an administrative change only to the schedule of roads to comply with Wantage and Grove parish boundaries.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Wantage) (Speed Limits) Order 2020 and the Oxfordshire County Council (Grove Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2011 are revoked/replaced. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for public inspection online by visiting:

(Stadhampton - Chalgrove Areas) (Speed Limits) Order 2022
NOTICE is given that on 12 December 2022 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order which comes into force on 19 December introduces a 20mph speed limit in Chalgrove on the roads lying south of the B480, replacing the existing 30mph speed limits in their entirety, leading out to the following points:
1. Berrick Road - a point 391 metres northeast of its junction with Mill Lane,
2. High Street - a point 205 metres northwest of its junction with Marley Lane,
3. Mill Lane - a point 430 metres south of its junction with Fleming Avenue.
The roads lying to the north of the B480 in the vicinity of the airfield & Monument Park will remain 30mph as existing after considering the current road environment & traffic usage. The Oxfordshire County Council (Stadhampton - Chalgrove Areas) (Speed Limits) Order 2020 will be revoked/replaced as necessary

(Aston, Bampton Cote Area) (20 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2022
NOTICE is given that on 12 December 2022 Oxfordshire County Council made the above
order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The order which comes into force on 19 December introduces a 20mph speed limit
throughout Aston, Cote, and Bampton, replacing the existing 30mph speed limits in their
entirety.
Additionally, on Main Road, Cote - the proposed 20mph speed limit will also be extended south-eastwards by a further 287 metres to cover the access to "Cote Bungalow Farm", replacing the current 60mph National Speed Limit.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Aston and Bampton Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2019 is revoked/replaced.

(Oxford Area - Various Streets) (Traffic Management) (Variation No.7) Order 2022
NOTICE is given that on 12 December 2022 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, which comes into force on 19 December is to correct an administrative omission to Schedule 1 Prohibition of Motor Vehicles (Part A) so as to include the location of the traffic filters at Crescent Road, Junction Road, Salegate Lane and Temple Road in the Temple Cowley area of Oxford, with these filters having been approved as permanent measures by the County Council in July 2022.

Copies may be made available bale on request If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from 12 December 2022 apply to the High Court for this purpose. (Blewbury) (Speed Limits) Order 2022
NOTICE is given that on 12 December 2022 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order which comes into force on 19 December introduces a 20mph speed limit throughout Blewbury village, replacing the existing 30mph speed limits within the main residential area, leading out to the following points:
1. Westbrook Street - its junction with the A417 London Road,
2. Nottingham Fee - its junction with the A417 London Road,
3. South Street - its junction with the A417 London Road,
4. Eastfields - its junction with the B4016 Bessels Way,
5. Bessels Lea Road - its junction with the B4016 Bessels Way
6. Whites Orchard - its junction with the B4016 Bessels Way.
The existing 30mph speed limits on the A417, B4016, Bohams Road, and Woodway, and the existing 40mph speed limit on the B4016 Bessels Way will remain as currently signed, having taken into account the current road environment & traffic usage. The Oxfordshire County Council (Blewbury) (Speed Limit) Order 2011 is revoked/replaced as necessary.
