The County Of Cumbria (Various Roads, South Lakeland Area) (Consolidation Of Traffic Regulations) (Order 2002) (Ulverston - No. 9) Variation Order 2022

1. Cumbria County Council hereby give notice that on 13 December 2022 it made the above Order under Sections I, 2, 19, 32, 35, 35A, 38, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51, 53 and 64 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The Order will come into operation on 19 December 2022 and its effect will be to: -

a) Introduce "No Waiting At Any Time" restrictions parts of the following roads in Ulverston: - U5729 (Beech Bank); U5729 (Church Relds); U5729 (Sea View); U5729 (Church Walk); and

b) Introduce "No Stopping on School Entrance Markings 8.00am-5.00pm on School Days Only" restriction on thee U5729 (Church Walk).

3. Full details of the Order, together with a plan showing the lengths of road concerned, a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order, may be inspected at -

4. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made there under has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks of 13 December 2022 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
