Somerset County Council District of Somerset West and Taunton Parish of Wiveliscombe Temporary Closure of Silver Street

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Silver Street - from the junction with Wyndhams, southwards for a total distance of 108 metres. This Order will enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas service cut off works. The Order becomes effective on 29th December 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 4th January 2023 and last until 6th January 2023 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
