Somerset County Council District of Somerset West and Taunton Parish of Halse Temporary Closure of Halse Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Halse Road - from the junction with Fitzhead Road to the junction with Halsend. A total distance of 25 metres. This Order will enable Milestone Infrastructure to carry out drainage works . The Order becomes effective on 15th December 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months.

The works are expected to commence on 19th December 2022 and last until 21 st December 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days. Please visit
