Somerset County Council District of Somerset West and Taunton Parishes of Stoke St Gregory and Burrowbridge Temporary Closure of Curload Road and Stanmoor Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Curload Road and Stanmoor Road - 448 metres south from the junction with Cuts Road southwards for a total distance of 172 metres. This Order will enable Network Rail to carry out works to allow tamping of the track.

The Order becomes effective on 15th December 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 24th December 2022 and last until 25th December 2022 between the hours of 22:30 -10:00 for a total of 1 night. Please visit
