Ar 17 lonawr 2022, fe wnaeth Cyngor Sir Ddinbych Orchymyn a fyddai mewn grym am gyfnod o chwe mis gan ddechrau o 24 lonawr 2022 sy'n gwahardd cerddwyr rhag defnyddio Llwybr Troed Cyhoeddus Rhif 34 yng nghymuned Prestatyn.
Mae angen cau'r llwybr er diogelwch y cyhoedd wrth i waith dymchwel gael ei wneud gan Gyngor Sir Ddinbych. Nid oes llwybr arall ar gael.
Fe fydd y Gorchymyn presennol yn dod i ben ar 23 lonawr 2023, ond er mwyn hwyluso parhad y gwaith mae wedi ei ymestyn am 6 mis arall hyd at 23 Gorffennaf 2023 gyda chymeradwyaeth Gweinidogion Cymru gan ddefnyddio pwerau o dan adran 15(5) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991).

Temporary Traffic Order Denbighshire County Council Public Footpath No. 34 Prestatyn Notice Of Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians Order Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14
On 17th January 2022, Denbighshire County Council made an Order effective for a six-month period commencing from 24th January 2022 which prohibits pedestrians from using Public Footpath No. 34 in the community of Prestatyn.
The closure is necessary to facilitate public safety during ongoing demolition works by Denbighshire County Council. There is no alternative way available.
The current Order expires on 23rd January 2023, but to facilitate the continuation of the works this has been extended by a further 6 months until 23rd July 2023 with the approval of the Welsh Ministers using powers under section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991).
