The London Borough Of Barking And Dagenham (Stockdale Road, Dagenham) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2022

Notice Of Intent

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that In order to facilitate gas connection works, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham intends to make a Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The order is expected to come in to effect on Tuesday 3 January 2023. The works expected for:

* Gas connection works to take 4 days to complete. Completion date estimated as Friday 6 January 2023 with the work expected to be undertaken between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm.

However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are being displayed the Order will temporarily:-

* Prohibit all vehicular traffic on Stockdale Road, both sides, from its junction with Bentry Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.

* Prohibit all vehicular traffic (Except for Access) on Stockdale Road, both sides, from its junction with Green Lane to a point 10 metres north of its junction with Bentry Road.

4. Alternative routes for Vehicular traffic will be maintained and signed:
