Definitive Map Modification Order (No 8) 2022
The above Order, made on 16th September 2022, was confirmed on
8th December 2022 and will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by:-
Former Tynedale District
Bridleway/Footpath No 26 (Parish of West Allen)
Upgrading thereto to public bridleway status, existing Public Footpath No 26, from Byway Open to All Traffic No 37, at Keirsleywell Bank, 660 metres west of Fairplay (O.S. Grid Ref NY 7624 5071), In a general southerly direction for a distance of 2635 metres, to the Cumbria County boundary at Blacklaw Cross (NY 7579 4831).
Footpaths Nos 12 & 27 and Byway Open to All Traffic No 37
(Parish of West Allen)
The Definitive Statements for these existing public rights of way will be amended to reflect the upgrading of Footpath No 26 to public bridleway status.

The Order became operative on 8th December 2022 but If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question Its validity, or that of any provisions contained in it, on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any regulation has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, within six weeks from 15th December 2022 make an application to the High Court for that purpose.
