Oxfordshire, Multiple Traffic Notices, 20mph Speed Limits

Oxfordshire County Council
1. (North & South Moreton Parishes) (Speed Limits) Order 20** 2. (Aston Tirrold And Aston Upthorpe Parishes) (Speed Limits) Order 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout South Moreton, replacing the existing 30mph speed limit in its entirety, leading out of the village to the following points:

1. Moreton Road (partly in the parish of Aston Tirrold) - a point 310 metres south of its junction with Anchor Lane/ the Parish boundary,

2. Hithercroft - a point 540 metres east of its junction with High Street/Anchor Lane,

3. Sands Road/Dunsomer Hill (partly in the parish of North Moreton) - a point 50 metres northwest of the centre of the rail bridge,

4. Unnamed road running through Fulscot (Didcot Road) -a point 118 metres northwest of its junction with High Street.

The Oxfordshire County Council (North & South Moreton Parishes) (Restricted Roads) Order 2019, and the Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Aston Tirrold and Aston Upthorpe Parishes) Order 2019 will be revoked/replaced as necessary. Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the 20 January 2023. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Ref: CM/12.6.354)


Oxfordshire County Council (Childrey And Sparsholt) (Speed Limits) Order 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Sparsholt & Westcot, replacing the existing 30mph speed limit in its entirety, leading out of the villages to the following points:

1. Eastmanton Lane - a point 135 metres south of its junction with Pulpit Hill,

2. Partridge Way - a point 15 metres south of its junction with Church Way,

3. Pulpit Hill - a point 90 metres east of its junction with Eastmanton Lane,

4. Seven Days Lane - a point 184 meters north of its junction with the B4507,

5. Sparsholt Street - a point 60 metres south of its junction with Church Way,

6. Westcot Lane - a point 419 metres north of its junction with Church Way.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Childrey and Sparsholt Parish) (Speed Limits) Order 2021 will be revoked/ replaced as necessary.
