Temporary Road Closure 41280 Abnash (Chalford Parish) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 41280 Abnash from outside the property known as Abnash Barn to outside the property known as Abnash Cottage for a distance of approximately 122 metres. The reason for the closure is to carry out Gigaclear works.

Temporary Closure Of Footpath Mst 2 (Stonehouse Town) Stroud District

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath MST 2 from its junction with Public Footpath MST 4 extending in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 170 metres to its junction with Public Footpath (former) MST 2 and shown on the Order Map by a bold solid black line marked A to B. The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst construction works takes place.
The Order will come into force on the 19th December 2022 and it is anticipated that the footpath will close on that day until 18th June 2023. However, the Order can permit the closure of the Footpath for up to six months from the date of the initial closure. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time. Alternative Route - No alternative route due to nature of works. Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 41427 Bowl Hill from its junction with Bowl Hill and Rooksmoor Hill to outside the property known as The Old School House for a distance of approximately 70 metres. The reason for the closure is to create a safe working zone for overhead structure works.

Emergency Closure Of Public Footpaths Eea8, Eea10 & Eea15 And Public Bridleway Eea12 (Eastington Parish) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to temporarily close under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of the footpaths and bridleway as detailed in the Schedule below.

Public Footpath EEA 15 (Eastington) from its junction with public footpath EEA 14 north-north-west of Great Oldbury Primary Academy and then extends in a generally south-easterly then south-westerly direction for approximately 325 metres to its junction with Public Bridleway EEA 12 west of Great Oldbury Primary Academy.
Part of Public Bridleway EEA 12 (Eastington) from a point north-north-west of Great Oldbury Primary Academy and then extends in a generally south-easterly direction for approximately 50 metres to its junction with Public Bridleway EEA 11 north of Great Oldbury Primary Academy.
Public Footpath EEA 8 (Eastington) from its junction with Public Bridleway EEA 12 north of Great Oldbury Primary Academy and then extends in a generally northerly direction for approximately 163 metres to its junction with Public Footpath EEA 14 north-north-west of Great Oldbury Primary Academy.
Public Footpath EEA 10 (Eastington) from its junction with Public Bridleway EEA 11 north of Great Oldbury Primary Academy and then extends in a generally north-easterly direction for approximately 245 metres to its junction with Public Footpath EEA 7 north of Great Oldbury Primary Academy.

The Public Footpaths and Public Bridleway all fall within the Parish of Eastington in the Stroud District, Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to protect the public following unannounced groundwork rendering the footpaths and bridleway unsafe
to use.
The Public Footpaths and Public Bridleway were originally closed for 21 days by Notice commencing on 25th November 2022. However the works have not been completed and therefore it is necessary to extend the closure by Order commencing
16th December 2022.
This Order will authorise the closure of the Public Footpaths and Public Bridleway for up to six months from the date of the original Notice. However, if the works need to continue after this time then it will be necessary to make an application to the Secretary of State for an extension to the closure.

TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION AND FOOTWAY CLOSURE A419 COWCOMBE HILL (CHALFORD PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to temporarily close the footway and to introduce a 30mph speed restriction for part of the A419 Cowcombe Hill from its junction with the Escape Road to outside the property known as Provence for a distance of approximately 322 metres. The 30mph speed restriction and footway closure is necessary to carry out ground investigations.
