Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:

1. the prohibition of the driving of vehicles, and

2. no stopping at any time (clearway)

Post House Wynd - Entirely

The Order is necessary to allow scaffolding at Jessica's Public House for repair works. The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 9th January 2023, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 4 weeks.
