Parish of Wellington Temporary Closure of White Hart Lane

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along White Hart Lane - 61 metres north west from the junction with High Street northwards for a total distance of 104 metres. This Order will enable Jurassic Fibre to carry outworks to lay a duct for fibre. The Order becomes effective on 8th December 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 12th December 2022 and last until 14th December 2022 between the hours of 23:59 - 00:00 for a total of 3 days. There is no alternative route for this closure. The works promoter will contact residents and businesses directly to discuss access arrangements.
