Minor Parking Amendments Various Roads In The Borough

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 7 December 2022 made the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

* The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Common & Tooting Bee) (Parking Places) (No. 5) Order 2022;

* The Wandsworth (Earlsfield) (Parking Places) (No. 4) Order 2022;

* The Wandsworth (Putney) (Parking Places) (No. 10) Order 2022;

* The Wandsworth (Clapham Junction) (Parking Places) (No. 7) Order 2022.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be:

(a) In Ellerton Road, remove 5 metres of parking bay outside No. 84 and replace with a single yellow line;

(b) In Skelbrook Street remove 4.5 metres of parking bay outside Nos. 27/29 Skelbrook Street and replace with a length of single yellow line;

(c) In Putney Bridge Road, outside No. 92 to make changes to the parking bay layout to accommodate a crossover;

(d) in Glycena Road reinstate 4.5 metres of parking bay at the rear of 136 Lavender Hill and outside No. 2 Glycena Road.

3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders which come into operation on 12 December 2022 are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court
