Minor Parking Amendments Various Roads In The Borough

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 7 December 2022 made the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

* The Wandsworth (Tooting Broadway) (Parking Places) (No. 4) Order 2022;

* The Wandsworth (Earlsfield)fParking Places) (No. 5) Order 2022;

* The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Common and Tooting Bee) (Parking Places) (No. 6) Order 2022

* The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. 631) Order 2022.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to make certain changes to parking arrangements, as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice,

3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders which come into operation on 12 December 2022 are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court

SCHEDULE

Church Lane, SW17

To remove a section of permit E2 parking bay and to install waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) outside No.139 Church Lane.

Garratt Lane/Isis Street, SW18

To reduce the pay and display parking bay and to convert waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) to an "At Any Time" waiting restriction (marked as double yellow lines) at the junction with Isis Street and to install waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) inside the pay and display parking bay outside No.591 Garratt Lane.

Nicosia Road, SW18

To remove existing waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) and extend existing D4 sub-sone permit parking bay outside of No.18 Nicosia Road

Whitlock Drive, SW19

To install sections of "at any time" waiting restriction (marked as double yellow lines) on the junction of the northern cul-de-sac off Whitlock Drive and outside No.1 Whitlock Drive
