Notice Of Intention To Dispose Of Open Space

Notice is hereby given that Durham County Council proposes to dispose of:

*34.11 m2 or thereabouts of land adjacent to 27 Newtown Villas, Sacriston

* 31.34m2 or thereabouts of land adjacent to 15 Plunkett Terrace, Pelton Fell

* 175m2 or thereabouts of land adjacent to 1 Battle Green, Pelton Fell

* 218m2 or thereabouts of land adjacent to 2 Battle Green, Pelton Fell

A plan showing the area concerned may be inspected at the offices of Corporate Property and Land, County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UL.
By virtue of Section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) the County Council is required to give formal notice of its intention to dispose of Open Space and consider any objections to the proposed disposal.
Any representations or objections to the disposal should be made in writing to the Head of Legal and Democratic Services at the address below or by emailing

before the 29th December 2022 and should state the grounds for objection.
