The County Council of Durham (Ann Street, Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 15 meter length of Ann Street, Consett to the rear of 60-64 C10A Front Street to enable water main repair works to be undertaken. Alternative route from east side of closure in a south westerly direction on Seymour Street to west end of closure and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 9/1 /23 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
