Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Knight Rd, Burtonwood (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Knight Rd from its jct. with Perrins Rd to its end. The Order will be effective from 9th January 2023, for 1 day between 9:30am & 3:30pm, as & when signed on site. The closure is required to allow Openreach to replace a damaged communication pole. Ref: High/2419

Sandy Ln, Penketh (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Sandy Ln from its jct. with Warrington Rd to its jct. with Heath Rd. The Order will be effective from 9th January 2023 for 2 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Heath Rd, Warrington Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Cadent Gas to carry out gas mains replacement works. Ref: High/2418

Common Ln, Appleton (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Common Ln from its jct. with Northwich Rd to its jct. with Well Ln. The Order will be effective on 12th December 2022, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Northwich Rd, Well Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to replace their overhead cables. Ref: High/2412

Nook Ln (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Nook Ln from its jct. with Fearnhead Ln for its entire length. The Order will be effective on 8th December 2022 between 9:30am & 3:30pm, as & when signed on site. The closure is required to allow Openreach access to their underground apparatus. Ref: High/2411

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
