Provision of Raised Zebra Crossings - Woodford New Road

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to control the speed of vehicles under the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the provisions of the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 the Council of the London Borough

of Redbridge has approved a proposal to install 2 raised Zebra crossings (speed hump) in Woodford New Road (a) approximately 10 metres south-west of its junction with Bunces Lane and (b) approximately 10 metres north-east of its junction with Empress Avenue.
2. The raised crossing (speed hump) would be of flat top design, not more than 75 millimetres at its highest point with an overall length of 11.0 metres. The raised crossing (speed hump) would be constructed from kerb to kerb Hot Rolled Asphalt (HRA) in accordance with Department for Transport regulations.

3. A copy of the plan showing the location of the proposed crossing may be inspected between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Monday to Saturday (except on Bank Holidays) at the Customer Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY.

4. Any person wishing to object or make representation to the proposal should send a statement in writing of their objection or representation and the grounds thereof to the Head of Engineering, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NY quoting reference CP/TE-WNR 2_CR/ SA_MP by no later than 29th December 2022.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has approved a proposal

to install 2 raised Zebra crossings in Woodford New Road (a) approximately 10 metres south-west of its junction with Bunces Lane and (b) approximately 10 metres north-east of its junction with Empress Avenue with associated tactile paving, zig-zags, belisha beacons and street lighting, in order to improve road safety.
2. A copy of the plan showing the location of the proposed crossing may be inspected between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Monday to Saturday (except on Bank Holidays) at the Customer Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY.

3.
