SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Stubbs Lane (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Allington Lane for a distance of approximately 85m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out excavation to install water mains and other associated works. Alternative route via C153 - C154 - Stubbs Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 January 2023 and the closure will be required until 13 January 2023. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: B) UC 832901 (Part), Littleton Drew, Grittleton; from a distance of approximately 25m south east of its junction with C71 for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out installation of new customer supply and associated works. Alternative route via C71 - B4039 - UC 832901 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 December 2022 and the closure will be required for 3 days. C) C172 (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Honey Knob Hill to its junction with The Orchard to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out location and resolving blockages to underground network and associated works. Alternative route via C172 (unaffected length) -C72 - Woodbarn Farm Road - C154 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 December 2022 and the closure will be required for 1 day. D) Norley Lane (Part), Calne Without; from its property known as The Hollies to outside property known as Saxon Lains to enable Gigaclear Limited to locate and resolve blockages affecting customer service and associated works. Alternative route Norley Lane (unaffected length) - A4 - Studley Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 December 2022 and the closure will be required for 1 day. For further information please contact Gigaclear Limited on 01865 591100. e) A346 (Part), Aldbourne and Ogbourne St George; from its junction with Lower Upham Farm Road for a distance of approximately 1.7km in a southerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reactive patching and associated maintenance works. Alternative route via A346 (unaffected length) - M4 - A338 - Bath Road - A4 - London Road - Herd Street - Port Hill - A346 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 December 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 for 4 nights. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction on the following lengths of roads: A) A350 (Part), Kington Langley; from its roundabout junction with B4122 for a distance of approximately 380m in a southerly direction. (north and southbound). B) A350 M4 Roundabout Junction 17, Kington Langley and Stanton St Quintin; for the complete length of gyratory. C) B4122 (Part), Kington Langley; from its roundabout junction with A350 for a distance of approximately 395m in an easterly direction. D) A429 (Part), Stanton St Quintin; from its roundabout junction with A350 to its junction with C166 to enable M J Church to carry out implementation of 40mph speed limit. The speed restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This speed limit restrictions will come into operation on 03 January 2023 and will be required until 31 July 2023. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. And to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following length of road: B) Hollow Way (Part), Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Brook Lane to its junction with St Marys Close. And to temporarily introduce a 20mph speed restriction of the following lengths of roads: C) Hollow Way (Part), Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with St Marys Close to its junction with Tithe Barn Lane. D) Tithe Barn Lane, Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Hollow Way for its entire length due to reasons of highway safety and risk of serious damage to the highway during planning and works for the land slippage at Lyneham Banks. The speed restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. These speed limit restrictions which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 12 December 2022 and is anticipated to be required until the completion of the land slippage works at Lyneham Banks. These speed limit restrictions which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 12 December 2022 and is anticipated to be required until the completion of the land slippage works at Lyneham Banks. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (A429 BURTON HILL, ST PAUL MALMESBURY WITHOUT)
(30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2022 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (A429 BURTON HILL, ST PAUL MALMESBURY WITHOUT) (40MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2022 Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to
revoke The County of Wilts (Built-Up Areas) Order 1945 and The County of Wiltshire (A429 Burton Hill, St Paul Malmesbury Without) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2002 and re-enact them, in part, in the above Orders and to introduce a 30mph speed limit on A429 Burton Hill, St Paul Malmesbury Without - from a point 72 metres south of its junction with Arches Lane to a point 163 metres south of its junction with Storey Mews. Deposit copies of the Orders, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Malmesbury Library, Cross Hayes SN16 9BG during the hours of 2pm to 7pm Monday, 9.30am to 5pm Tuesday and Wednesday, 9.30am to 7pm Friday and 9.30am to 1pm Saturday until 9 January 2023.
