Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Conwy yn bwriadu gwneud Qorchymyn dan Adrannau 1 a 2 Deddf Rheoli Trafnidiaeth Ffyrdd 1984, i wahardd unrhyw gerbyd neu gerbyd a llwyth sy'n pwyso mwy na 7.5 tunnell gyda'i gilydd, rhag mynd ar hyd St Andrews Road Bae Colwyn.
Gwneir eithriadau yn y Gorchymyn ar gyfer cerbydau sydd angen mynediad ar gyfer cludo pobl neu nwyddau i neu oddi wrth unrhyw adeilad a leolir ar hyd y darn hwnnw o'r ffordd neu'n gyfagos iddo;at ddibenion trwsio neu gynnal a chadw neu weithred debyg ar y ffordd neu dir cyfagos i'r darn hwnnw o'r ffordd; gwaith adeiladu neu ddymchwel ar y darn hwnnw o'r ffordd neu'n gyfagos iddo; symud unrhyw rwystr ar drafnidiaeth ar y darn hwnnw o'r ffordd; cynnal, gwella neu ailadeiladu'r darn hwnnw o'r ffordd; neu osod, codi, newid, neu atgyweirio, ar y darn hwnnw o'r ffordd neu'n gyfagos iddo, unrhyw garthffos, pibell neu gyfarpar ar gyfer cyflenwi nwy, dwr neu drydan, neu unrhyw linell delegraffig; at ddibenion yr Heddlu, y Gwasanaethau Tan neu Ambiwlans neu gerbydau sy'n gwneud gwaith i'r Cyngor.

7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction Order 2022
The Conwy County Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1 and 2 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle or vehicle and load the combined weight of which exceeds 7.5 tonnes from proceeding along St Andrews Road Colwyn Bay.
Exemptions will be made in the Order for vehicles requiring access for the conveyance of persons, goods or merchandise to or from any premises situated on or adjacent to that length of road; the purposes of repair, maintenance and the like on the road or on land adjacent to those lengths of road; in connection with any building operation or demolition in or adjacent to that length of road, the removal of any obstruction to traffic in that length of road, the maintenance, improvement or reconstruction of that length of road, or the laying, erection, alteration or repair in or adjacent to that length of road of any sewer or of any main, pipe or apparatus for the supply of gas, water or electricity or of any telegraphic; Police, Fire Service or Ambulance purposes and vehicles in the service of the Council.

Objections to the proposed Order, together with the grounds on which they are made should be sent in writing to the Traffic Section, Environment Roads and Facilities, PO Box 1 Conwy LL30 9GN or to traffic@conwy.gov.uk by 4 January 2023.
