Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(Bromsgrove District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2022 [Prohibition of Waiting on Woodrow Lane and Churchill Road, Catshill, Bromsgrove] On 24 November 2022 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Bromsgrove: Woodrow Lane (Northwest side): from its junction with Churchill Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction; (Southeast side): from a point 15 metres north east of its junction with Green Lane for a distance of 18 metres in a north easterly direction. Churchill Road (Both sides): from its junction with Woodrow Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made. (U40219 Wards Lane, Ombersley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022 Proposed Order: to close that part of U40219 Wards Lane from its junction with C2152 Uphampton to Holt Road for a distance of 280 metres in a South Easterly direction.
Reason: New water connection by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2152 Uphampton to Holt Road, U40220 Woodhall Lane, U40219
Wards Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 3 January
2023.
(Link Footpath F40876 Park Way (Canal footbridge), Westacre, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Proposed Order: to close that part of Link Footpath F40876 Park Way (Canal footbridge), Westacre from its junction with Link Footpath F40088 Droitwich Canal Bridleway 580(A) to its junction with Bridleway 579(A). Reason: Bridge replacement by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Link Footpath F40088 Droitwich Canal path (South side), Link Footpath F40950 running alongside canal (South side), U41720 Briar Mill (BR2359) to footpath on (North side) of canal and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 74 days Commencing: 3 January
2023.
(Link Footpath F40050 Valley Walk (Canal Footbridge), Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Proposed Order: to close that part of Link Footpath F40050 Valley Walk (Canal Footbridge) from its junction with U41651 Valley Way for a distance of 70 metres in a North Westerly direction to the footsteps on canal towpath on the North side of the canal footbridge.
Reason: Bridge replacement by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Canal footpath North side from Little Hill Court Footbridge to
U41720 Briar Mill bridge BR2359 adjacent to West Acres Middle School, Footpath F40050 Valley Walk (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 months. Anticipated duration: 74 days Commencing: 3 January
2023.
(C2150 Goosehill Lane to Earls Common, Himbleton) (Temporary Closure)
Order 2022
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2150 Goosehill Lane to Earls Common from its junction with C2032 Himbleton to Middle Road to its junction with C2149 Harmans Hill.
Reason: Restore customer service by Openreach.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2032 Himbleton to Middle Road, C2032 Harrow Lane, C2080 Shaftland Cross to Phepson and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 4 January
2023.
(Link Footpath F20572 Wheatridge Road, (between nos. 2 & 14) and F20071 Talbot Road, (fronting nos. 22 - 40), Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure)
Order 2022
Order made: to close that part of Link Footpath F20572 Wheatridge Road (between nos. 2&14) and F20071 Talbot Road (fronting nos. 22-40), Bromsgrove, from its junction with U21100 Wheatridge Road for a distance of 185 metres in a Northerly direction.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Footpath F20572 Hastings Road (side no. 1), U21035 Hastings Road, U21036 Talbot Road, Footpath F20071 Talbot Road (side of no. 40), U21124 Cooper Close, U21122 Miller Close, U21033 Austin Road, U21100 Wheatridge Road
and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days Commencing: 12 December 2022.
