Eynsham Footpath 206/27/10 Closure Date of Order: 29 November 2021
Came into force: 10 December 2021 This Order was introduced in the interest of public safety due to a failed wall along the footpath between Mill Street and Back Lane. The closure needs a further extension of 6 months to complete the remedial work and the anticipated end date is now June 2023. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Footpath 27 (link no 206/27/10) north of Acre End Close. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of bridleway. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route for those affected by the closure is via Acre End Street and Main Street. This Order, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport will remain in force until 30 June 2023 or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
