(Field Road & Woodyett Road, Busby) Temporary Restriction To Use Of Road Order 2022

On the 1st December 2022 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict waiting on Field Road & Woodyett Road, Busby between its junction with East Kilbride Road and a point 10 metres or thereby beyond and including its junction with Woodyett Road, due to the likelihood of danger to the public caused by inappropriate parking over this section of road and in order to ensure safe passage for all road users along these lengths of road, which includes the footways & verges.

The Order comes into effect on 5 December 2022 and will remain in operation for a maximum of 18 month.

The restriction applies to all vehicles with the exception of vehicles associated with essential works being carried out on or near the adjacent  carriageway and emergency vehicles attending an incident.
