Temporary Closure of Ashcott Road and Station Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Ashcott Road - from the junction with St Mary's Road to the junction with Shapwick Heath Nature Reserve Approach; and Station Road - from the junction with Shapwick Heath Nature Reserve Approach, southwards for 55 metres. A total distance of 2000 metres. This Order will enable Milestone Infrastructure to complete surface dressing works. The Order becomes effective on 8th December 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 12th December 2022 and last until 16th December 2022 between the hours of 07:00 -17:00 for a total of 5 days. Please visit
