The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Marlow Road, Bolter End in the Parish of Lane End CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Marlow Road for approximately 100m. Alternative route: Bolter End Lane, Chipps Hill, Wycombe Road, Old Dashwood Hill, Marlow Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach pole replacement works take place commencing on 8 December 2022 between 08:00 and 17:00. The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No.33, Chalfont St Peter) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No.33, Chalfont St Peter, from a point 190 metres south west from the junction with Layter's Close to a point 250 metres south west from the junction with Layter's Close.
The closure is required in the interest of public safety, due to a hole in the path surface.
Alternative route is via Existing Highway. The proposed Order will come into operation on 9 December 2022 as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Hedsor Hill, Hedsor) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hedsor Hill for 91 metres. Alternative route: Cricket Hill, Heavens Lea and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a pole replacement takes place commencing on 15 December 2022 between 00:00 and 23:59. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 December 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
