CUMBRIA COUNTY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH NO 581025 PARISH OF WINDERMERE) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2022
The above named Order made on 22 November 2022 under Sections 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will divert the whole width of that length of public footpath no 581025 at Applethwaite Hill in the parish of Windermere from GR 340925 499339 56 metres westwards and northwestwards to GR 340873 499345: to run from GR 340925 499339 westwards for about 52 metres over several steps to GR 340874 499331 then northwards for about 14 metres to GR 340873 499345. The width of the new path will vary between 1.8 metres and 3 metres. A copy of the Order and maps may be inspected free of charge at Windermere Library, Ellerthwaite, Windermere, LA23 2AJ and the offices of the Countryside Access Team, The Parkhouse Building, Kingmoor Business Park, Carlisle CA6 4SJ (ref 5.1.498 by appointment only). Any supporting statements or objections with respect to the Order can be sent in writing to the Countryside Access Team, (by post or email as addresses above) to be received not later than 29 December 2022 and should state the grounds on which they are made. If no objections are duly made or if any so made are withdrawn the Cumbria County Council may confirm the Orders as unopposed Orders. If any of the Orders are submitted to the Secretary of State any objections which have not been withdrawn will be submitted with that Order.
