Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1) The Bolton (Public Footpath Horwich 167) (Temporary Closure) (No. ) Order 2022

The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice.
The effect which will be operative from 2nd January 2023 and will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath Horwich 167 commencing from a point off Green Lane point A at grid reference SD 63976 12530 in a generally northwest by north direction to point B at grid reference SD 63952 12560; as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1 Hor167 over a total distance of approximately 40 metres.

An alternative route is available commencing from a point off Green Lane, point A at approx. grid reference SD 63976 12530; leading adjacent to public footpath Horwich 167 to point B at approx. grid reference SD 63952 12560.
The Order is necessary to facilitate SW drainage work and will continue until 13th February 2023 or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
