HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTION 119 - NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER - The Cheshire East Borough Council (Footpath No. 45 (Part) Parish of Mobberley) Public Path Diversion Order 2020
On 13 October 2022, the Cheshire East Borough Council confirmed the above named Order. The effect of the above named Order, as confirmed, will divert that length of Public Footpath No. 45 in the Parish of Mobberley commencing at OS grid reference SJ 8175 8093 and running in a generally easterly direction for a distance of approximately 138 metres to OS grid reference SJ 8184 8093 to a new line commencing at OS grid reference SJ 8175 8093 and running in a generally south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 116 metres to OS grid reference SJ 8184 8085 and then in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 17 metres to OS grid reference SJ 8184 8084 then curving in a generally east south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 25 metres to OS grid reference SJ 8186 8038.

The Order became operative on 13 October 2022, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks of 1 December 2022, make an application to the High Court.
