Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
A49 London Rd, Appleton (Prohibition of Driving, Clearway & Suspension) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be as follows: Prohibition of Driving & Clearway: A49 London
Rd from its jct. with Lyon's Ln to its jct. with Fairways; Temporary Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Quarry Ln) (One Way) Order 2009 in its entirety. The Order will be effective from 23rd January 2023 for 6 weeks, between 7pm & 1am, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Lyon's Ln, Broom Ave, Longwood Rd & vice versa. The restrictions are required for carriageway resurfacing. Ref: High/2357
Eagle Brow & Brookfield Rd (Prohibition of Driving & Footway Closure) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & footway closure as follows: (1) Eagle Brow from its jct. with the A56 Church Rd/Booths Hill Rd to its jct. with Brookfield Rd; (2) Brookfield Rd from its jct. with Eagle Brow to a point approx. 55m south (at the access to Lymm Tennis Club); (3) Eagle Brow from its jct. with Brookfield Rd to a point approx. 70m east, outside No. 38. The Order will be effective from 16th January 2023 for 6 weeks, as & when signed on site. The works will be implemented in phases as follows: Phase 1 (Item 1) - Starting 16/01/23 for 3 weeks, between 09:30 & 15:30; Phase 2 (Item 2) - Starting 06/02/23 for 1 week, between 09:30 & 15:30; Phase 3 (Item 3) - Starting 20/02/23 for 1 week, between 19:00 & 23:00. The alternative routes are: Phase 1 via A56 Church Rd, Brookfield Rd & vice versa; Phase 2 via Brookfield Rd, A56 Church Rd, Eagle Brow & vice versa; Phase 3 via Rectory Ln, (The Cross), Church Rd, Eagle Brow & vice versa & via Brookfield Rd, Dane Bank Rd, Dane Bank Rd East & vice versa. The restrictions are required to facilitate highway improvement works relating to traffic calming features. Ref: High/2391
Jubilee Way (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway on Jubilee Way from its jct. with A49 Winwick Rd to its jct. with Alder Ln. The Order will be effective from 9th January 2023 for 6 weeks, between 7pm & 1am, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via A49 Winwick Rd, A50 Long Ln, A50 Orford Grn, Hallfields Rd, Norris St, Orford Ave & Alder Ln or via A49 Winwick Rd, Ireland St, South Ave, Alder Ln & vice versa or via Alder Ln, Mortimer Ave, West Ave, Hale St, Longford St & A49 Winwick Rd. The restrictions are required for carriageway resurfacing. Ref: High/2376
Jct. at Parker St, Crosfield St & Sankey St (Prohibition of Driving, Clearway & Suspension) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Parker St from its jct. with Sankey St/Liverpool Rd to its jct. with Wilson Patten St; Crosfield St from its jct. with Parker St to its jct. with Bankside; Sankey St from its jct. with Parker St to its jct. with Arpley St; Liverpool Rd from its jct. with Parker St to its jct. with Factory Ln; Wilson Patten St from its jct. with Parker St to its jct. with Slutchers Ln; Slutchers Ln from its jct. with Wilson Patten St for 100m. Temporary Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Bank Quay General Improvement Area) (Traffic Regulation) Order, 1977 in so far as it relates to the One Ways in Schedule II as follows: Thynne St -West to East; White St - East to West; Dixon St (White St to passage north of No 5 Dixon St) - South to North. Temporary Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Centre Park Link) (Various Moving Restrictions) Order 2020 in so far as it relates to Article 12 & the One Way on Arpley St. The Order will be effective from 15th January 2023 for 8 weeks, between 7pm & 1am, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Priestley St, Froghall Ln, Midland Way, Cockhedge Grn, Brick St, Fennel St, Mersey St & vice versa. The restrictions are required for carriageway resurfacing. Trans Pennine Trail (Footpath Closure) (Phase 2) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a footpath closure on the Trans Pennine Trail from Greenall's Ave to A49 Wilderspool Cswy. The Order will be effective from 9th January 2023 for 12 weeks, however the works are weather dependent so will be in place as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Greenall's Ave, Wilderspool Cswy & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for footway construction works in association with the footway/cycleway improvement scheme. Ref: High/2364
Red Ln, Appleton (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Temporary Order 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to prohibit motor vehicles on Red Ln (in both directions) described as the turnaround area outside & adjacent to Lych Gate of Hill Cliffe Baptist Church. The Order will be effective from 1st December 2022, between 8pm & 8am, as & when the signs are in place on site. The restriction is required to prevent anti-social behaviour. Ref: High/2413
Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
The Borough of Warrington (Bridge St) (Prohibition of Left Turn & Prohibition of Right Turn) Order 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to make an order under Sections 1, 2 & 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers. The effect of which will be as follows: -
1) To prohibit any Motor Vehicle proceeding in a southerly direction on Bridge St from making a left hand turn onto Academy Way, except for Buses, Taxis & Pedal Cycles; 2) To prohibit any Motor Vehicle proceeding in a northerly direction on Bridge St from making a right hand turn onto Academy Way, except for Buses, Taxis & Pedal Cycles. The Borough of Warrington (Delenty Dr) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3 & 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit Motor Vehicles from proceeding along the length of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice, Pedal Cycles will be permitted.
