ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Castlegate, Richmond
(Reference 22/243)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water utility works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Castlegate, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Castlegate between a point outside No 13 Castlegate and a point outside No. 15 Castlegate

3. The order will come into effect on 12 December 2022 The restrictions will be in force at all times between 12 December 2022 and 15 December 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via St Pauls Road, Stanmore Gardens/Raleigh Road and Lower Mortlake Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Paradise Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water utility survey works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Paradise Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Paradise Road from its junction with Eton Street to a point outside No 32 Paradise Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 8* December 2022. The restrictions will be in force between 20:00 and 23:59 on 8th December 2022.

The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Sheen Road and Eton Street.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*

Fulwood Gardens, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 49 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Parking Places Order will be to extend the Zone C Controlled Parking Zone to include Fulwood Gardens The zone will operate between 8.30am and on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions Fulwood Gardens operating at any time and between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

4. Within the zone, there will be designated permit holder only parking places where only vehicles which display a valid resident's permit, a valid business permit, a residents' visitor permit, a multi-zone business permit or an operational permit may park during the controlled hours.

6. Copies if further details of the proposals: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 22/242, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works on behalf of Network Rail at Mortlake level crossing they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Sheen Lane, East Sheen.

Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in Sheen Lane between a point 20 metres south of the level crossing and a point 20 metres north of the level crossing.

Whilst Sheen Lane is closed, an alternative route for traffic will be via Palmerston Road, Temple Sheen Road, Upper Richmond Road West and Sheen Lane.

The order will come into effect at 11 pm on 10 December 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress overnight from 11pm on 10 December 2022 until 7am on 11 December 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
