Clyde Road. Croydon Temporary Restriction Of Vehicular Traffic

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new telegraph pole, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Clyde Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Clyde Road will be closed between the common boundaries of Nos. 35 and 37 and Nos. 46 and 48 Clyde Road.

b) One way working in Clyde Road will be suspended to allow two-way traffic between No. 46 Clyde Road and the junction with Lower Addiscombe Road.

3. Whilst the works are taking place the alternative routes for traffic will be via Lower Addiscombe Road, Elgin Road and Addiscombe Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 16 December 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

And All Other Enabling Powers Ken Ley Lane. Kenley Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new water connection on behalf of SES Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Kenley Lane, Kenley.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Kenley Lane will be closed outside Sycamores, Kenley Lane.

3. During the closure, the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Valley Road, Beverley Road, Hornchurch Hill, Whyteleafe Hill, Godstone Road, Hayes Lane, Kenley Lane and vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 19 December 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should Further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

King Henry's Drive. New Addington Temporary Restriction Of Parking

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telegraph pole renewal works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in King Henry's Drive.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" between the common boundaries of Nos. 499/501 and 503/505 and Nos. 507/509 and 511/513 King Henry's Drive.

3. The Order will come into operation on 16 December 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Section 16a As Amended By The Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994 Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic & Parking Order Coulsdon Yuletide Magic Event -Brighton Road. Coulsdon Associated Restrictions

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the forthcoming Coulsdon Yuletide Magic event they intend to make a Traffic Order the effect of which will be to introduce a road closure and waiting and loading restrictions in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedules to this Notice to enable a Christmas Fayre and market to take place.

2. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.

3. Whilst the event is taking place, the alternative route for southbound traffic will be via Chipstead Valley Road and Lion Green Road. For northbound traffic the alternative routes will be via Farthing Way,

or via Lion Green Road and The Avenue, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into effect on 03 December 2022 and will remain in force for one day.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in the event.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
