Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U91028, Picadilly, Kingswood, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U91028, Picadilly, Kingswood, between Toad Hall and Piccadilly Cottage. Grid Ref: 328435 / 255145. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1072 Hergest onto Montfort Road onto the A44 onto the A4111 onto Kingswood Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new customer connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come Into force on 10th of January 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
