Highways Act 1980 An D Wild Li Fe An D Countryside Act 1981 Cumbria County Council (Footpath Nos 602061 An D 602062 Parish Of Askam An D Ireleth) Public Path Diversion And Definitive Map And Statement Modification Order 2022
The above named Order made on 22 November 2022 under Sections 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 in respect of public rights of way situate at Dunnerholme Golf Course in the parish of Askam and Ireleth will divert the whole width of that section of public footpath no 602061 from grid reference 321517 478922 north-northwestwards for about 298 metres to grid reference 321471 479214; to run from grid reference 321517 478922 north-northeastwards alongside the railway for about 137 metres to grid reference 321545 479056 then northwestwards for about 177 metres to grid reference 321471 479214; and
the whole width of that section of public footpath no 602062 from grid reference 321276 478554 north-northeastwards, southeastwards and northeastwards for about 240 metres to grid reference 321463 478666; to run from grid reference 321276 478554 northeastwards for about 204 metres to grid reference 321428 478689 then east-southeastwards for about 42 metres to grid reference 321463 478666 The width of the new sections of path will be 2 metres. Any supporting statements or objections with respect to the Order can be sent in writing to the Countryside Access Team, (by post or email as addresses above) to be received not later than 30 December 2022 and should state the grounds on which they are made.
If no objections are duly made or if any so made are withdrawn the Cumbria County Council may confirm the Orders as unopposed Orders. If any of the Orders are submitted to the Secretary of State any objections which have not been withdrawn will be submitted with that Order. Chief Legal Officer
