The County Council of Durham (Townely Street, Stanley) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 25/11/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic, except for emergency service vehicles, from proceeding on 30 metres of Townely Street between the accesses to 110 Front Street and Aldi Car Park, Stanley to enable telecom mast testing works to be undertaken. No alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic, except for emergency service vehicles, during the closure period. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 8/12/22 from 9pm and are anticipated to be completed in 8 hours. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
