Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Harrogate Road, Bradford Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Harrogate Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Harrogate Road from its junction with Chapel Walk to a point outside No. 401 Harrogate Road (outbound only). PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Victoria Avenue, Norman Lane, Bradford Road, Thorp Garth, Albion Road, Leeds Road, New Line, Harrogate Road (unaffected section) and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 00:01 hours on the 12th December 2022 and remain in force until 05:00 hours on the 12th December 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
