Notice of Public Path Order under Town and Country Planning Act 1990
Section 257 and Paragraph 1 of Schedule 14 Public Path Diversion Order
The Somerset West and Taunton Council Public Path (Footpath WL28/20 (part) and WL28/21 (part) in the parish of Watchet) Diversion Order 2022 Somerset West and Taunton Council

The above Order was made on 22 November 2022.

The effect of the Order will be to divert the public footpaths:

WL28/20 - Starting at point A shown on the Order map and proceeding in a south-easterly direction to point C a distance of approximately 138 metres then in a north-easterly direction to point D a distance of approximately 8 metres then in a generally south-easterly direction to point B a distance of approximately 114 metres, a total distance of approximately 260 metres.

WL28/21 - Starting at point E shown on the Order map and proceeding in a south-easterly direction to point G for a distance of approximately 126m

WL28/21 - Starting at point F shown of the Order map and proceeding in a southerly direction to point G and on to point B for a distance of approximately 72m

All footpaths to be a minimum of 2m in width.

A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at the Council's Offices, Deane House, Belvedere Road, Taunton, TA1 1HE during normal working hours. A copy of the Order can be purchased for £10.

Any representations about, or objections to, the Order may be sent in writing to the address below not later than 29 December 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If any such representations or objections are duly made, or if so made are withdrawn, the Somerset West and Taunton Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
