NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE GRANT OF A VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE

Take note that application has been made to Mendip District Council for a premises licence:

Name of Applicant/Club: Glastonbury Abbey Address of Premises: Abbey Gatehouse, Magdalene Street Glastonbury BA6 9EL

Proposed variation of licensable activities: The premises would extend the permitted times of licensable activities by 1 hour to 11pm for one weekend, usually in August and usually the bank holiday weekend. Actual dates to be confirmed 5 months in advance to the local licensing authority. The variation is specific to live entertainment within the abbey grounds and the sale of alcohol at ticketed events. Capacity at any one time less than 5000.

Date by which interested parties and responsible authorities may make representation 20th December, 2022 A record of the application made to the Licensing Authority will be kept on a register at the address given below and the register may be inspected during normal office hours.
