Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1) The Metropolitan Borough Of Bury (Public Footpath 103ram) Temporary Closure Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any members of the public from proceeding along:-

Public Footpath 103RAM -between Bury New Road and Manchester Road, Ramsbottom
The reason for the proposed order is to enable works associated with a new residential housing development to be carried out.

The alternative route will be via Bury New Road and Manchester Road and vice versa. The Order comes into operation on Monday 05 December 2022 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months. Dated 01 December 2022 Council Solicitor

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along:-Vernon Road, Greenmount - Temp Rd Closure.

The closure is in place to enable replacement of manhole frame and cover
Diversion route is via Newton Rd, Belvadere Ave and vice versa.

The proposed Order comes into operation on 08/12/22 -and remains in force for up to 3 months (anticipated duration of works - 1 day)
