The A66 Trunk Road (Boathouse Lane Interchange To Thornaby Road Interchange) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic)

Notice Is Hereby Given

That National

Highways Limited has made an Order on the
A66 Trunk Road, in the County of Stockton-On-Tees, to enable drainage works to be
carried out in safety.

The works are expected to start on Friday 9 December 2022 for 5 nights, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am.

The effect of the Order will be to close, at times during the works, the A66:
(i) eastbound and westbound exit and entry slip roads at Boathouse Lane Interchange; and

(ii) eastbound exit and entry and westbound entry slip roads at Thornaby Road Interchange.

During the closures suitably signed alternative routes will be available. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes).
