(Station Road, Alresford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Alresford in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 15m south east of its junction with Cox Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th December 2022 for 1 night (01:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL735COC-57-67-301222 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while level crossing inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Station Road, Wivenhoe Road, Coach Road, St Osyth Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 8th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Station Road, Thorrington) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Thorrington in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Great Bentley Road to its junction with Church Road a distance of approximately 35m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th December 2022 for 1 night (01:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL735COC-59-45-291222 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while level crossing inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Station Road, Clacton Road, Church Road, Holly Bush Hill, Flag Hill, Colchester Road, Bypass Road, St Johns Road, St Johns Roundabout, Little Clacton Bypass, Bovills Roundabout, Bovills Way, Little Clacton Weeley Bypass, Colchester Road Roundabout, Great Bentley Road, School Lane, Frating Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 8th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Various Roads, District of Tendring) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) (No.6) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Tendring as specified in the Schedule.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
3. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction in those lengths of road in the schedule.

"The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time" restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 8th December 2022, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Daisy Green, Eight Ash Green in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 100m south west of its junction with Foxes Lane for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th December 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30049245589 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while utility works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. No alternative route is available.

The Order came into effect on 24th November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Langham Lane, Langham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Langham Lane, Langham in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 310m south west of its junction with Park Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th December 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010692970 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water

An alternative route is available via Langham Road, Straight Road, Dedham Road and vice versa with access only into Greyhound Hill and Langham Lane.

The Order came into effect on 24th November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Turkey Cock Lane, Eight Ash Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Turkey Cock Lane, Eight Ash Green in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 400m south west of its junction with Daisy Green for a distance of approximately 30m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th December 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03160960472/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stoptap replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Halstead Road, Halstead Road Roundabout, A1124 Halstead Road Southbound, Essex Yeomanry Way Southbound, Tollgate Roundabout, London Road, Western Approach, Turkey Cock Lane and vice versa with access only into Turkey Cock Lane.

The Order came into effect on 24th November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Winters Hill, Layer Breton/Layer Marney) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Winters Hill, Layer Breton/Layer Marney in the Borough of Colchester, from the junction with Clears Road to the junction with Lower Road a distance of approximately 2100m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th December 2022 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2332901/02 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Shatters Road, Layer Breton Heath, Birch Street, School Hill, Lower Road, Maldon Road, Smythes Green and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 24th November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
