The County Council of Durham (Brandon Lane-Lowland Road link Road, Brandon)
(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 25/11/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 60 metres of Brandon Lane-Lowland Road link road that extends northwards from its junction with the access to Silver Courts, Brandon to enable new development foul and surface water drainage works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the southern side of the closure from Lowland Road north easterly to Carr Lane then northerly on Carr Lane and turning west after St Andrews Methodist Church on the road leading to the Brandon Lane/ Lowland Road link road to the northern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 5/12/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 14 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
