14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Ascott under Wychwood, London Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 28 November 2022
Coming into force: 5 December 2022 This Order is being introduced because of new sewer connection works at entrance to new development which is anticipated to be completed 19 December 2022.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit through traffic proceeding in London Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic is via the B4457 to Shipton Under Wychwood, Shipton Road, the A361 to Shipton Under Wychwood, Ascott Road then onto Shipton Road. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
