The London Borough Of Barking And Dagenham (Valence Circus, Dagenham) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic And Footpath Closure) Order 2022

NOTICE OF MAKING
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate replacement of telegraph pole works, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham has made a Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The order is expected to come in to effect on Thursday 1 December 2022. The works expected for:

* Replacement of telegraph pole works to take

1 day to complete. Completion date estimated as Thursday 1 December 2022 with the work expected to be undertaken between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm.
However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are being displayed the Order will temporarily:-

* Prohibit all vehicular traffic on Valence Circus, both sides, from the common boundary of Property Nos. 1 and 3 Valence Circus to the common boundary of Property Nos. 13 and 15 Valence Circus.

* Prohibit all pedestrians on Valence Circus, south­east side footpath, from the common boundary of Property Nos. 3 and 5 Valence Circus to the common boundary of Property Nos. 11 and 13 Valence Circus.

4. Alternative routes for pedestrians will be maintained and signed:

* Via Valence Circus north-west side footpath.

5. Alternative routes for Vehicular traffic will be maintained and signed:

* Valence Circus, Aylmer Road, Adomar Road, Valence Circus and Vice Versa.
