Temporary Traffic Management Order

The London Borough Of Barking And Dagenham (Witham Road, Dagenham) (Temporary Prohibition Of
Vehicular Traffic) Order 2022 Notice Of Making

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that In order to facilitate Sewer cover replacement works on behalf of Thames Water, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham has made a Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The order is expected to come in to effect on Thursday 1 December 2022. The works expected for:

* Sewer cover replacement works on behalf of Thames Water to take 1 day to complete. Completion date estimated as Thursday 1 December 2022 with the work expected to be undertaken between the hours of 10.00am and 2.00pm.

However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are being displayed the Order will temporarily:-

* Prohibit all vehicular traffic on Witham Road, both sides, from the common boundary of Property Nos. 1 and 3 Witham Road to the common boundary of Property Nos. 6 and 8 Witham Road.

* Prohibit all vehicular traffic (Except for Access) on Witham Road, both sides, from its junction with Standfield Road to the common boundary of Property Nos. 1 and 3 Witham Road.

* Prohibit all vehicular traffic (Except for Access) on Witham Road, both sides, from its junction with Hunters Hall Road to the common boundary of Property Nos. 6 and 8 Witham Road.

* Suspend the Resident Permit Holders Only Zone HW Mon-Sat 8.30am-5.30pm bays on Witham Road, both sides, outside Nos. 3-5 Witham Road.

4. Alternative routes for Vehicular traffic will be maintained and signed:

* Hunters Hall Road, Holgate Road, Standfield Road and Vice Versa.

* Hunters Hall Road, Albion Road, Croppath Road, Standfield Road and Vice Versa.
