London Borough Of Bromley Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 As Amended - Section 14 (1) (C) Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic South Eden Park Road Beckenham

Notice Of Making An Order

1. The Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order to allow safe traffic movements for deliveries and construction traffic into the Northern Land Developments Ltd. construction site THEY HAVE MADE an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic: -

Temporary single yellow line parking restriction will be implemented on South Eden Park Road between the junctions of Wickham Way and Bucknall Way for approximately 200m along the Eastern kerb line outside the construction site. The temporary Single Yellow Line restriction will be in place Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00 until 18:30. Waiting Vehicles
No person shall, until the works are completed, cause or permit any vehicle to wait at South Eden Park Road between the junctions of Wickham Way and Bucknall Way along the Eastern kerb line between the hours of 08:00 until 18:30 Monday to Friday. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986, or by the Council in accordance with the powers conferred upon it.

2. THE Order will come into effect on Wednesday 30th November 2022 with no specified finish date.

3. NOTHING in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer in uniform or Traffic Warden.

4. THE restriction referred to in this Order shall not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. ACCESS to properties will be maintained at all times, however vehicles will need to follow the diversion signs displayed on site whilst the closure is in place. Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian access will be available at all times during the works.

6. ALTHOUGH the Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months, it is expected that the restriction will be in place for up to 18 months and will begin on or after the commencement date of the Order.

7. THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
