Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Common Ln, Appleton (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Common Ln from its jct. with Northwich Rd to its jct. with Well Ln. The Order will be effective on 12th December 2022, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Northwich Rd, Well Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to replace their overhead cables. Ref: High/2412

Nook Ln (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Nook Ln from its jct. with Fearnhead Ln for its entire length. The Order will be effective on 8th December 2022 between 9:30am & 3:30pm, as & when signed on site. The closure is required to allow Openreach access to their underground apparatus. Ref: High/2411

Red Ln, Appleton (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to prohibit motor vehicles on Red Ln (in both directions) described as the turnaround area outside & adjacent to Lych Gate of Hill Cliffe Baptist Church. The Order will be effective from 1st December 2022, between the hours of 8pm & 8am, as & when the signs are in place on site. The restriction is required to prevent anti-social behaviour. Hume St Passageway Gable of 80 (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Hume St Passageway Gable of 80 for its entire length. The Order will be effective from 25th November 2022 for 1 week, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be signed on site. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out a new customer connection. Ref: High/2407

Silverdale Rd (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Silverdale Rd from its jct. with Gainsborough Rd to its jct. with Elgin Ave. The Order will be effective from 28th November 2022 for 2 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Gainsborough Rd, Chester Rd, Meadow Ave & vice versa or via Gainsborough Rd, Irwell Rd, Copeland Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Cadent Gas to carry out gas mains replacement works. Ref: High/2408

Winwick Ln, Winwick (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Winwick Ln from its jct. with the M6 jct. 22 to its jct. with Sandy Brow Ln. The Order will be effective from 7pm on 25th November 2022 to 6am on 28th November 2022, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Newton Rd, Southworth Rd, Mill Ln, Winwick Rd, Newton Rd, Winwick Link Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for the installation of ducting & drainage works associated with the Parkside development.
