Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2022 Prohibition of Waiting on Kingsbury Road, Worcester)

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of the road in Worcester:
Kingsbury Road (east side): from a point 10 metres south of its junction with Winchester Avenue for a distance of 29 metres in a southerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2022 (Prohibition of Waiting on Broadway Grove and Stainburn Avenue, Worcester. On 10 November 2022

Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester: -
Broadway Grove (Northwest side): from its junction with Stainburn Avenue for a distance of 12 metres in a north easterly direction and 11 metres in a south westerly direction. Stainburn Avenue (Both sides): from its junction with Broadway Grove for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 1 December 2022.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Layby on A443 Stockton, Stockton on Teme) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of the layby on A443 Stockton in its entirety. Reason: Layby resurfacing by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: No diversion in place as layby only. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days Commencing: 27 November 2022.

(Link Footpaths F50427 & F50428 Saddlers Walk from Goldsmith Road to Windermere Drive, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of: Link Footpath F50427 Windermere Drive & F50428 Saddlers Walk/ Goldsmith Road from its junction with U51200 Windermere Drive to its junction with U51201 Goldsmith Road and Link Footpath F50428 Saddlers Walk/ Goldsmith Road from its junction with U51201 Goldsmith Road North to its junction with U51201 Goldsmith Road South. Reason: Lay new ducting by Kier Group. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Link Footpath F50427 Windermere Drive Diversion: U51200 Windermere Drive, U51201 Goldsmith Road and vice versa. Link Footpath F50428 Saddlers Walk/Goldsmith Road Diversion: U51201 Goldsmith Road in both directions. Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days Commencing: 28 November 2022.

(U51007 Gillam Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of U51007 Gillam Street from its junction with U51009 Mayfield Avenue to its junction with U51020 Laslett Street. Reason: Lay new ducting by Kier Group. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U51020 Laslett Street, C2294 Lansdowne Road, U51009 Mayfield Avenue and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days Commencing: 28 November 2022.

(U60021 Chapel Road, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of U60021 Chapel Road from its junction with U60020 Lyfs Lane & U60021 Rookery Road to its junction with U60023 St Marys Close. Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U60020 Lyfs Lane, U60018 Church Street, U60021 Chapel Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 22 days Commencing: 21 December 2022.

(U62222 Alfrick, Alfrick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of U62222 Alfrick from its junction with C2244 Crews Hill & C2244 Workhouse Bank to its junction with C2233 Alfrick. Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2244 Workhouse Bank, U62223 Yarrington Road, C2233 Alfrick and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 22 days Commencing: 15 December 2022.

(U64202 Well Lane, Little Witley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of U64202 Well Lane
from its junction with U64200 Bank Road to its junction
with A443 Little Witley.
Reason: Carriageway Patching by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U64200 Bank Road, A443 Little
Witley, and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days Commencing: 15 December 2022.

(C2069 Sinton Green, Grimley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2069 Sinton Green from its junction with U64004 Sinton Green to its junction with U64005 Sinton Green. Reason: New customer connection by Openreach. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U64004 Sinton Green, U64005 Sinton Green and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
1 day Commencing: 20 December 2022.

(Bridleway RW-507, Rushwick) (Temporary Closure Order) 2022

Order made: No person shall proceed along Bridleway
RW-507 Rushwick for its entire length.
The Order has been made to repair the damaged surface
of the bridleway.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
having a frontage to the highway affected where there is
no other form of access; and to allow the necessary
works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: No alternative route.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period
not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is
proposed to be carried out have been completed,
whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that
the Order will only be operative for 6 months
commencing on 9 November 2022.

(U51335 Avon Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of U51335 Avon Road
from its junction with U51334 Teme Road to its junction
with U51334 Teme Road.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U51334 Teme Road, both ways.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
45 days Commencing: 28 November 2022.

(Bridleways WR-934 and WR-950, Worcester) (Temporary Closure Order) 2022

Order made: to close Bridleways WR-934 and WR-950,
Worcester for their entire length.
The Order is being made to allow surfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
having a frontage to the highway affected where there is
no other form of access; and to allow the necessary
works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: There is no alternative route. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 28 November 2022.

(Link Footpath F50166 Lion Walk to Westbury Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of Link Footpath F50166 Lion Walk to Westbury Street, Worcester from its junction with U50101 Lion Court to its junction with
U50104 Wesbury Street.
Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U50101 Lion Court, U50100 Sansome Walk, F50492 Black Horse Walk, U53030 Lowesmoor, B4550 Lowesmoor Terrace, U50104 Westbury Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 13 days Commencing: 28 November 2022.
